About the Author: Howard is a Mechanical Engineer that has a great love and passion for Marketing and Helping Others Win and Realize Dreams. Howard graduated from Southern University in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he worked for two fortune 500 companies in a variety of sales and marketing roles. The roles ranged from regional marketing responsibilities for a variety of new start-up products in the environment arena to direct sales responsibilities in the Food & beverage and light industrial markets. Through hard work and creative ideas he was able to be consistently rank as top salesmen and was national salesmen of the year out of 300 salesmen. In 1999, Howard left corporate America and started a retail store that specializes in collegiate apparel. By utilizing creative ideas and marketing programs he was able to position Top Choice Products as market leader in Southern University merchandise. In 2007 Howard expanded into the promotional marketing arena. Since this time TOP Choice has been able to with over 20 fortune 500 companies, various regional companies and host small businesses. TOP Choice not only provides their clients with product, they provide innovative programs, creative ideas and simple solutions. Most recently, Howard has joined the John Maxwell Team(JMT). As a Certified Business & Leadership Coach and Trainer. This has not only help Howard bring enhanced leadership practices to the organizations that he belong. As a JMT member, he also trains outside organizations and companies on leadership and marketing. Most recently, Howard was part of a team of 150 trainers that trained over 20,000 leaders in the country of Guatemala. When not working Howard enjoys spending time with his wife Janice and participating in baseball with their son, Howard III, playing golf and working on his next book, Southern Greats.
