About the Book

New neighbors were always welcome in the country side as not many moved into the country. Tony and Tiny Day, along with Gabriel and his wife Helen had lived in this country side for many years. Tony was first to meet the new neighbor Limm Brown. Tony was a friendly person who had no problem carrying on conversation with any stranger. This man Limm was strange, Tony mentioned him to his friend Gabriel. Why did you not bring him with you to the Church mens meeting tonight Gabriel inquired? Gabriel, I could never invite him here or any other place! Why? When you meet him you will understand. Gabriel and Helen were very anxious to meet this new neighbor. The Eye catching "Gold Box" Limm kept in plain view was always brought into conversation except Limm gave no one answers about the Box! Meeting Limm, Helen became afraid of him, she pictured him as a very dangerous human being. Old Maid Sandy Plain wanted to make his acquaintance, she did and immediately went home locking all her windows and double checked all her door locks. Limm became the neighborhood man of danger. Many strange things began to happen. The Gold Box became the talk of the entire neighborhood. Many figured something bad was locked inside that Box. Even human body parts. Limm becoming the man of interest was found lying in a pool of blood, Tony and Gabriel rush him to the hospital. Stranger things began to happen as the local Sheriff became a man of suspicious character himself? "The Gold Box" was stolen, each time it was stolen, it created a fire but never getting warm itself. People looked in awe and wondered how could this "Gold Box" be handled right after the fire was put out. Limm explains and still people wonder what does this suspicious "Gold Box" actually have inside? The mystery lasts until the strange little boy named David was discovered! The Bible name was indeed an ancestor of King David whom God loved very much. David is the care taker of the "Gold Box" His troubles and toils causes you to love him much.

I love writing books, gardening, fishing and just being outside. I started writing at the age of three. I told my Grandfather that I was going to write God a letter asking Him to send rain as grandpa's crops was in need of water. His reply was: "You write a letter every day child." I wrote several books as my two children were in school. Often, I loved my books too much to put an ending on them. That was and still is the hardest part of my book writing. Many times, I'd just get bored and place the book on a shelf in the closet. It would be weeks, maybe months and then I'd start another book. I stopped writing when my mother became very ill. I also lost my husband and just could not pick up a pen for a long time. I m a very fortunate person to have a Guardian Angel sent by God who insisted I pick up my pen and began my writing again. I will celebrate my 90th. birthday on July 18th. This may be my last book, depends on what my God has in store for me.
