About the Book

After having come to terms with her haunting ancestry, as Noti heads off to college, she hopes that life will now be something closer to normal. It won't. Even as she makes new friends, they remind her so much of her childhood companions that she cannot escape an almost constant homesickness. Furthermore, she meets a dazzling Casanova who seems determined to earn her affection; however, there is always the boy who has adored Noti her entire life, and if anyone deserves her love, it's him. Worst of all, she finds herself tormented by three images that look entirely too much like her - pale, blue-eyed blondes. The only distinction is that they are all ghosts. Noti tries to tell herself that these manifestations aren't personally related to her, so surely they will not affect her. They will. Even worse, so will the malevolence responsible for their deaths. SECONDARY SIGHTING, the sequel to PRIMARY POSSESSION is of the New Contemporary Fiction Romance and Paranormal genres.
About the Author: I am a high school English teacher whose truest passion is writing, but I have a LOT of loves. For example, I find Ben and Jerry's NEW YORK SUPER FUDGE CHUNK sinfully delish and the Broadway musical WICKED a wicked-lovely experience. I'm officially OBSESSED with THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS.Tyson Ritter is my celebrity crush. He definitely makes me wish I were several years younger. Crazy about 30 SECONDS TO MARS, too. Jared Leto's rendition of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" and Kanye West's "Stronger" are meltingly amazing. I really dig Dawe's "If I Wanted Someone." Chevelle's "Shameless Metaphors" rocks me, too. Depending on my mood, I listen to everything from The Avett Brothers to the Beastie Boys, Ben Harper to Breaking Benjamin, Ed Sheeren to Eminem...THE DEAD POETS' SOCIETY and WHAT DREAMS MAY COME - timeless tales of truth and tragedy, enlightenment and literary allusion. DPS is a beautiful script with an original angle on poetry. The imagery alone in WDMC makes it worth watching - sensational cinematography, but the exploration of something spiritual beyond the norms of what society expects is what grabs me. No way can I relate even a tenth of the books I love. "So many books, so little time." I will mention a few that move me, though. I teach young adults, I write young adult fiction, so I read young adult fiction. The narrator's voice in Jillian Dodd's THAT BOY series is tops! Jessica Sorenson's THE COINCIDENCE series recently earned me as a fan. Tracey Garvis-Graves' ON THE ISLAND brought me to tears; CHASING NIKKI by Lacey Weatherford made me cry out loud as did Molly McAdams' TAKING CHANCES. I read everything these writers publish: Tammara Webber, Abbi Glines, Rachel Caine, Colleen Hoover...I am a huge Robert Jordan fan; The WHEEL OF TIME series is a MUST for sci-fi/fantasy. For a supernatural fix, I hit Ann Rice's INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE series, Charlaine Harris's SOOKIE STACKHOUSE novels. Richelle Mead's VAMPIRE ACADEMY and BLOODLINES are at the top of my list. Lately, I find myself fond of the "bad boy" in books, and nobody does it better than Jamie McGuire's Travis Mattix in BEAUTIFUL DISASTER. Ans I SO want to know Jay Crownover's RULE. Whenever someone questions my quirks, I just remind them that "well-behaved women rarely make history" (Laurel Thatcher Ulrich).: -)
