About the Book

Each year Nicholas Claus searches for the one woman who will fulfill the prophecy foretold before his time: the one who will become his bride. Has he finally found his future Mrs. Claus in a young pastry chef from Quebec? With the help of a spunky elf named Kringle, Nick plays the dating game to win the heart of Sophie Laurent. Will Sophie and Nick be able to earn the love of the other or will their desires shatter the prophecy and any hope of being together? Humor, love, and the magic of Christmas all come together to guide Nick and Sophie down the same path and find love where neither expected it.
About the Author: Courtney Daisey was born in Okinawa, Japan into a military family. After her birth, her father retired from the Marines and the family moved to Cliftondale, GA. She grew up in an extremely creative family, where her father played the guitar and her mother read many books. Courtney began writing short stories as a child and her vivid imagination was always running! She also began playing the flute in 1989. The family moved to Sharpsburg, GA in 1992 so that Courtney could join the East Coweta Marching Indians. She began writing poetry and submitted a poem in her senior year to an anthology. To her surprise her work was accepted and she became a published poet in 1997. Courtney graduated with honors from East Coweta High School in 1997 and accepted a music scholarship to the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA. During her sophomore year, she took a creative writing class. This really became an outlet for her creativity and she began writing more poetry and stories. In 2004 she moved to Fargo, ND. She returned to college and obtained a degree in Criminal Justice from Aakers College in 2007. She continued to write for fun and allowed her stories to be a creative outlet in her busy life. She moved back to Georgia in 2009 and continued to write. She discovered NaNoWriMo and began actively attending events in her area. She decided to take her writing more seriously and began to focus on her stories with the intent of having them published. Her first novel was one of her NaNoWriMo projects. Mrs. Daisey works a full time job and writes in her spare time. She also enjoys bowling, crafts, board games, reading, music, singing, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Nick. The couple has two daughters, two dogs, three cats, and two fish. They reside in Senoia, Georgia and enjoy the quiet, country life.
