About the Book

Fachbezogene Kompetenzen werden als die bei Individuen verfugbaren oder von ihnen erlernbaren kognitiven Fahigkeiten und Fertigkeiten, bestimmte Probleme zu losen, verstanden. Zur systematischen Gliederung der Beschreibungen von Kompetenzen werden geeignete Kompetenzmodelle entwickelt. Diese sollen eine Grundlage fur die Operationalisierung von Bildungszielen darstellen, und somit erlauben, den Output des Bildungssystems uber das Erstellen von Testverfahren empirisch zu uberprufen. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird in der vorliegenden Arbeit ein modellbasiertes Testinstrument entwickelt. Das zugrunde liegende Kompetenzmodell ist das an die Nationalen Bildungsstandards Physik anschlussfahige "Bremen-Oldenburger Kompetenzmodell" (BOlKo). Das Testinstrument erfasst Fahigkeiten, die den unterschiedlichen Kompetenzauspragungen aus dem Kompetenzbereich "Fachwissen Nutzen" zuzuordnen sind. Die Testitems stammen aus den Bereichen der Warmelehre der Mittelstufe und Thermodynamik der Sek. II. Die in der Haupterhebung gewonnen empirischen Testdaten (95 Items, 680 Probanden) werden nach dem Rasch-Modell in derselben Weise skaliert, wie auch die Daten der TIMS- und PISA- Studien. Am Ende der Testentwicklung steht ein Testinstrument, das die Fahigkeiten in den Bereichen Warmelehre und Thermodynamik auf Schulniveau valide und reliabel erfasst. Neben der Testentwicklung ist die Weiterentwicklung des BOlKo ein wesentlicher Aspekt der vorliegenden Arbeit. Im Zentrum steht die Frage, ob die durch die Kompetenzauspragungen und die beiden Inhaltsbereiche Warmelehre und Thermodynamik modellierten Fahigkeiten auf Seiten der Schulerinnen und Schuler (a) von qualitativ unterschiedlicher Natur sind, sich (b) parallel entwickeln oder (c) Stufen einer Kompetenz bilden. In der Arbeit werden Methoden zur Strukturanalyse von Kompetenzdimensionen entwickelt, die im Wesentlichen auf mehrdimensionalen Rasch-Analysen basieren.
