Um diesem Thema auf den Grund gehen zu können, werden die Ausführungen von dem Philosophen Michel Foucault zu einem Modell eines Disziplinierungsverfahrens mit der Benutzeroberfläche der Lernplattform "kapiert.de" verglichen. Um das Datenmaterial der Plattform analysieren und mit den Thesen des Modells vergleichen zu können, wird eine geeignete Schritt-für-Schritt Methode aus dem "Neue Medien und Gesellschaft"-Bereich angewendet. Die Datenanalyse soll dazu beitragen, die folgende Forschungsfrage zu beantworten: Inwiefern lässt sich das Modell des Panopticons auf die Online-Lernplattform "kapiert.de" übertragen? Zunächst wird die die Grundlagen des Modells des Panopticons nach Foucault und dessen Relevanz für den erziehungswissenschaftlichen Fachbereich der Schule thematisiert. Anknüpfend daran, wird der Forschungsstand zu bestehenden Studien zu der Thematik der Überwachung, Disziplinierung und Kontrolle bei Schülern vorgestellt. Dabei zielt die Arbeit darauf ab, die bestehende Forschungslücke aufzuzeigen, einen Überblick über die Thematik zu verschaffen und die Fragestellung sinngemäß in den bestehenden Kontext einordnen zu können. Daran anschließend wird das das Datenmaterial und die theoretischen Hintergründe, wie auch das forschungspraktische Vorgehen der gewählten Methode abgebildet. In der Datenanalyse wird mithilfe der Methode die Online-Plattform analysiert und die Ergebnisse auf das Modell des Panopticons nach Foucault bezogen.
