Meist wird im Nachhinein bemerkt, dass dieses Verhalten unbegründet gewesen ist. Aber was ist mit SchülerInnen, die sich gar nicht erst trauen zur Schule zu gehen? Die somatischen Beschwerden entwicklen, wenn sie bloß an schulspezifische Termini, sprich Hausaufgaben, denken. Diese Kinder leiden. In drei von vier Fällen kann es schnell zu einer Besserung führen, wenn man die Alarmsignale rechtzeitig erkennt und dem mit einer ganzheitlichen Therapie begegnet wird. Die Statistik belegt, dass Schuleschwänzen in Deutschland immer mehr zunimmt und das vor allem in Großstädten (ca. 100.000-200.000 SchülerInnen). In Berlin fehlten 2005 (ca. 4 %) der SchülerInnen mind. 20 Tage. Am häufigsten ist dies bei männlichen Schülern (im Alter von 12-13 Jahre) der Fall, weniger bei Mädchen (im Alter von 15 Jahren) (vgl. Lehmkuhl/Rentschler 2007). Oft sind es auch hochbegabte bzw. unterforderte Jugendliche, die die Langweile in der Schule nicht mehr aushalten. Aber auch Lernschwächen oder ein (ständiger) Schulwechsel kann eine Ursache darstellen. Nicht nur, dass es sich im beruflichen Werdegang negativ bemerkbar macht, sondern es kann auch ein Auslöser für eine psychische Störung werden, wie die Psychologen Ulrike und Gerd Lehmkuhl 2004 anhand von Studien zeigen konnten, die 30 Jahre zurückreichen. Diese Hausarbeit will in einem ersten Schritt die Angststörungen per se differenzieren, um dann die einzelnen Schulverweigerungen zu erläutern. Anschließend gehe ich auf die verschiedenen Behandlungsansätze in der Therapie von nicht dissozialen Schulverweigerungen ein und versuche, die generelle therapeutische Vorgehensweise deutlich zu machen.
