Is your child attending school online? Are they easily distracted or struggle to stay on task? Is the online learning portal confusing and not user-friendly? Do you or your child need help to organize, monitor and track schoolwork?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the book for you.
When Covid-19 appeared in the U.S. many schools closed their facilities then required students to do online learning at home. The schools did their best by providing web sites, student accounts and class portals. However, what schools could not do was provide families clear guidance about how to organize and manage online schoolwork. As the parent of a student, along with thousands of parents, I didn't know where to begin!
Now, think about schooling as a process of acquiring knowledge. Assignments are the inputs, schoolwork the activity and completed assignments are the output. The Schoolwork Success System described in this book is based on methods used for decades to manage knowledge work such as software development. This system is a proven approach to manage school "workflow" that is simple, reliable and saves time.
The Schoolwork Success System helps parents and students:
- Understand schoolwork priorities
- Become more organized
- Accurately track achievements
- Increase student accountability
- Remain aware of schoolwork progress and any challenges or missing assignments; and
- Improve communication among parent and student. Whether your student gets straight A's or struggles with a disability, this system will work for them.
