Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 2,7, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Institut für Germanistische Literaturwissenschaft), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Die Räuber" gehört zum festen Kanon in der Literatur und auch noch heute wird das Schauspiel auf den deutschen Bühnen inszeniert. Das Erstlingswerk, das Friedrich Schiller mit Anfang zwanzig schrieb, begründet seinen späteren dichterischen Erfolg. Durch die literarischen Motive, wie z.B. feindliche Brüder, Vaterautorität und das Aufsplitten der aristotelischen Regeln von den "drei Einheiten" zum Drama, kann das Werk literaturhistorisch in die Zeit des Sturm und Drang eingeordnet werden. Der Sturm und Drang wird grob auf die Jahre 1770 - 1780 aufgeteilt und gehört somit zur Spätaufklärung. In der gängigen Fachliteratur wird diese Zeit auch als Genieperiode bezeichnet. Mit den Protagonisten Karl und Franz Moor stellt Schiller nicht nur zwei unterschiedliche Brüder, sondern auch zwei verschiedene Heldentypen auf die Bühne oder in anderer Formulierung zwei große Geister. Beide Brüder streben nach Freiheit, jeder auf seine eigene "gute" oder "schlechte" Art. Beide Brüder leiden unter der Vaterautorität. In Karl herrscht das "Herz ohne Kopf", bei Franz hingegen der "Kopf ohne Herz" . Der Leser muss erkennen, dass Friedrich Schiller seinen Fokus nicht nur auf Karl Moor gelegt hat, der gegen soziale Ungerechtigkeit rebelliert, sondern in den Räubern auch von Anfang an Franz Moor eine tragende Rolle spielt. In der folgenden Arbeit wird die Beziehung, die Ähnlichkeit und der Unterschied der Brüder Karl und Franz Moor untersucht. Maßgebend für die Untersuchung wird eine vorangehende Charakterisierung der beiden Figuren darstellen, ebenso ein kurzer Abriss der Werkgeschichte und des Inhalts der Schillerschen Tragödie. Schlussendlich folgt ein Deutungs- und Interpretationsversuch. Die Beziehungen zwischen den Räubern sollen völlig außer Acht gelassen werden. A
