Die vorliegende Arbeit habe ich wahrend meiner Tatigkeit als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Fraunhofer-Institut fur Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung, Stuttgart begonnen. Herrn Professor Dr. -Ing. H. J. Warnecke, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls fur Industrielle Fertigung und Fabrikbetrieb der Universitat Stuttgart und Direktor des Fraunhofer- Instituts fur Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung Stuttgart, bin ich fur die Anregung zu der Arbeit und die immer gegebene Unterstutzung und Forderung zu groBem Dank verpflichtet.
