Hierbei soll das SCARF-Modell nach David Rock als zentraler Ansatzpunkt zur Erhöhung der intrinsischen Motivation und Leistung vorgestellt werden. Inhärent ergibt sich daraus die Fragestellung, wie sich aktuelles Verhalten von Führungskräften in Bezug auf dessen SCARF-Kongruenz bewerten lässt. Diese Arbeit soll einen Überblick über das SCARF-Modell sowie dessen Einbettung in das Themenfeld des Neuroleaderships vermitteln. Es soll zudem ein nachvollziehbar konstruierter Fragebogen zur Messung der SCARF-Kongruenz des Führungsverhaltens von Vorgesetzten, unter Berücksichtigung wissenschaftlicher und wirtschaftlicher Gütekriterien zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Durch eine Analyse der bestehenden Literatur wird ein Überblick über die Themengebiete Neurowissenschaft, Neuroleadership sowie das SCARF-Modell ermöglicht. Insbesondere die fünf SCARF-Dimensionen zur Motivations- und Leistungssteigerung nach David Rock werden aufgearbeitet und präzise dargestellt. Durch die wissenschaftlich konsistente Konstruktion eines Mitarbeiter-Fragebogens wird ein Instrument zur Messung des SCARF-gemäßen Verhaltens des direkten Vorgesetzten entwickelt. Eine präzise Definition des zu messenden Konstrukts sowie die Eruierung des geeigneten Erhebungsverfahrens bilden hierfür die Grundlage. Die zugrunde liegende dimensionale Analyse wird durch einen Strukturbaum nachvollziehbar dargelegt. Abschließend werden das SCARF-Modell sowie die angewandte Erhebungsmethode kritisch reflektiert.
