About the Author: Omen Media is a creation of Shawn Sharp who is a prolific writer, artist, musician and play writer. It was initially a vision Shawn Sharp shared with his co-author Dameon Brome and his Cousin Lisa Pierce as something he wanted to create to give his son Terrell Sparks (a.k.a. Omen) a vehicle through which they could express their creative talents as a team in a family business. To that end, Shawn created Scandalous the series with the help of his long time friend, Co-author and Editor Dameon Brome and sent it to Lisa Pierce. I wanted to go back to the tradition of great authors like Goines and Ice Berg Slim who included the bigger picture of the politics at play in their novels as well as certain supernatural elements that give the story just a little spiritual element intrinsic in our Black Culture. If you can feel us on this point then you need to read this book! I wanted to tell a good and entertaining story that is also politically relevant in today's times and shows how the higher ups are getting paid in the political game all over the world. The story is completely fictional, but you will find certain elements have a ring of truth to them as you read. So, this book is the first in a series with Scandalous Part 1 covering the global aspect of how drugs are moving through cartels in certain countries, while Scandalous Part 2 (The Steps Revenge) covers what goes down in the streets once the drugs get into our community.
