About the Book

English summary: Knowledge is the key to political authority. This is the concept that Plato explores and defends in his Statesman, one of the earliest works of political science. In this work that stands next to the Republic, Plato presents the statesman as weaver, protecting the social fabric from tears, maintaining vigilance against the hate that can emerge in human communities for that which is different. Nothing could be more pertinent for our troubled society.
