I've encountered over thirty-one life-threatening events and circumstances where God rescued me and revealed Himself. Here are those stories of how God intervened, warning and saving me every time. Jan Shima has entertained, toured, and lead worship internationally. She is a multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, songwriter, producer, worship leader, and visual artist. Her music spans many genres, such as jazz, Latin, R&B, gospel, world, and worship. She's written and recorded thirty-two songs and five albums, with three nominations for Hoku Awards and three for Hawaii Music Awards. Her instruments are vocals, violin, guitar, piano, and ukulele. At 95.5FM radio, she hosted Voice of the Islands, Youth Alive, and Saturday Nights. She taught music workshops internationally, and teaches now on Oahu. When she's not writing and recording, she's hiking trails, photographing wildlife, painting, and working on her Podcast "Soaring Sounds." She has a BFA from University of Michigan, and Master's Certificate in Writing and Producing from Berklee College of Music.
