About the Author: CELIA ANN ROONEY is a published writer, a lawyer, and a teacher living in Philadelphia. Raised in New Jersey, she spent many years in Oklahoma raising her children, as her husband was a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army and she was an English teacher. They took turns going to law school and worked in several firms. Moving to Philadelphia was a homecoming to the East Coast, where they established their own law firm. The author looked forward to doing more creative arts, writing, and helping people after retiring from the law. Then the cancer hit, and while it is gone now, that long and difficult year proved her mettle once again in facing changes and challenges she was not expecting.
