About the Author: Greetings Everyone! My name is Donald Copeland. I have been with my wife, Lisa since 1977 and we have four grown children and seven grandchildren. Our middle son's babies were born in New Zealand. He and his family have citizenships in the U.S. Mexico and New Zealand. We have our passports ready! Wickedness flooded the streets of Detroit, Michigan where I was born, but Tennessee proved to be the place where I wanted to raise my family and acquire a Biblical education. Half my life was spent in the home state of my mother, and most of the last half was spent in the home state of my father. I developed a passion for writing in the 1980s that centered on themes and plots for movies. I played the video scenes in my mind and developed the scripts for the dialogue. Unfortunately, the drafts were lost. As a minister, I developed hundreds of sermons that dealt with spiritual, emotional, and moral issues related to life, death, and the hereafter. I can provide any individual with Bible answers to any questions related to life and godliness (just ask!). My two-year study at Memphis School of Preaching gave me a solid Biblical foundation. My triple major at Freed-Hardeman University skilled me in the three important facets of life: KNOWING WHAT TO SAY (B.S. in Bible), KNOWING HOW TO SAY IT (B.S. in Communication), and KNOWING WHO TO SAY IT TO (B.S. in Psychology). I also acquired two Master's Degrees. The MBA was at the University of Phoenix (Memphis Campus) with specializations in Public Administration and Human Resource Management. I received the Outstanding Student Leadership Award as a business graduate student at UOP. My MAT was at Christian Brothers University (Memphis Campus) with a certification in middle grades 4-8. I am a public and private school teacher. I am also a minister with over 20 years experience. My zeal is to impart knowledge, both orally and in writing. After twenty years in church ministry, I took my talents and over-qualifications to the public school classroom to shape the great minds of the future in reading, writing, and language arts.
