Víctor Manuel Vielma Molina nació en Mérida (estado Mérida) el 15 de diciembre de 1952. Licenciado en letras (LUZ, 1980), educador, político y escritor (poeta y narrador). Docente de larga trayectoria en el municipio Colón, donde ha residido desde 1974 como profesor de castellano y literatura. Integrante del taller literario Zaranda de San Cristóbal, en cuyas publicaciones aparecen incluidos algunos de sus trabajos literarios. Obtuvo una mención honorífica del II Concurso de Cuentos del IPAS-ME con El pasajero de los sueños. Como político ha sido candidato a alcalde del municipio Colón (1989) por el MAS, agrupación de la cual fue presidente en ese municipio (1990); candidato a alcalde de Colón (1995) por la Causa R. En 1998 fue elegido senador suplente en las planchas de la Causa R. Miembro de la Sociedad Bolivariana del estado Zulia. Fue coordinador del Taller Permanente de Literatura "César David Rincón", de la Secretaría de Cultura del estado Zulia. Ha publicado: No hay necesidad de mí en los infiernos (2014), Piélago (2015), Tallado de sombra (2018). La casa del viejo maestro (2020), Zapatos del exilio (2022) y Sangre de Grafito (2023).
