About the Author: Walt F.J. Goodridge is a Columbia University graduate, former civil engineer, author and entrepreneur who, in 2006, "discovered" Saipan, booked a one-way ticket, and escaped from New York to live out his "nomadpreneur" dream life on this Pacific island paradise. Once on the island, and wanting to be a part of the re-branding of Saipan's image, he conceived and launched the WeLoveSaipan.com website, Saipanliving.com, and over a dozen additional sites devoted to showing the world the often overlooked images and impressions of Saipan, CNMI (Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands).
