Carlos Carralero   Es la primera novela de una trilogía que lleva por título "Saturno", en la que busca en el simbolismo y las metáforas la narración en primer lugar, de la historia de una familia que sin sospechar el sacrificio que eso implicaría decide iniciar una larga y traumática cruzada en aras de la justicia. En segundo lugar contar las vicisitudes a las que la dictadura del Saturno cubano de manera inhumana y exagerada ha sometido a un miembro de la familia, el protagonista. La alegoría del monstruo mitológico es el instrumento empleado por Carralero a través de su obra con el propósito de ilustrar el alucinante mundo que le ha tocado vivir. Un intento de biografíar con metáforas y juegos de palabras, la propia vida y la de de los habitantes de la Isla; soslayando el lenguaje lineal proprio de los ensayos y las biografías académicas.   Carlos Carralero en una entrevista para el blog Farreras decía que en literatura vale casi todo. Sin dudas, en "Réquiem por Saturno", la novela de este poeta cubano exiliado en Italia, y donde "trata de curar su alma de injusticias y decepciones antes de morir" da fe de que en literatura todo vale. About the Author: Carlos Carralero es un escritor y poeta cubano, exiliado político en Italia desde 1995. En Cuba fue exponente y fundador de varias organizaciones de derechos humanos. Después de haber organizado dos manifestaciones pacíficas (delito sumamente grave en la Cuba de Fidel Castro) fue encarcelado, luego obligado a abandoner la isla para evitar una condena a diez años de privación de libertad. En Italia es el fundador de Unione per le Libertà a Cuba, una asociación que tiene como objetivo primordial informar a los italianos acerca de la realidad en Cuba y de ayudar a los cubanos que se encuentran en este país. En Italia, España y algunos otros países ha publicado decenas de artículos sobre la realidad política y social cubana; así como novelas y colección de poesías y otros géneros. La presente novela (segunda edición revisada) "Réquiem por Saturno", constituye la primera parte de su trilogía "Saturno" (una alegoría al dictador cubano y su régimen devorador). La segunda novela de la serie titulada "Saturno y el Juego de los Tiempos", edición bilingue en español e italiano fue publicada en Italia en el 2008 por la editora Spirali de Milán. En el 2013 salió en Italia su libro "Fidel Castro - Abrazo Letal", publicado por la editora Greco&Greco de Milán. En Finlandia le fue publicado un libro de entrevista a cargo de la traductora finlandesa Elisa Sipilä "Kuuba - Historiallis-kulttuurinen matka esihistoriasta reaalisosialismiin" (Cuba- Viaje histórico cultural desde la Prehistoria al Socialismo Real). Ha publicado en Finlandia una colección de poesías, que lleva el título de "Los Hijos de Saturno y el Amor".
