About the Book

The Dual-Language Russian-English Book with Transliteration based on Omar Khayyam's four-line Rubaiyat Stanzas opens the window into the world's wisdom that is 1000 years old. On a page of the book you will find the Khayyam's four-line stanza in Russian translation (from Farsi), transliteration of Russian in Latin alphabet for those who can use help reading Cyrillic, and Zoia's translation into English with a summarizing thought in the title. The book is supplemented by the grammar section on Russian Verb, verbal Russian forms not existing in English or Spanish (French) grammar, and groups of derivatives based on some vocabulary of stanzas. The stanzas present a brilliant translation from Farsi into Russian by different translators. The language and thought of Omar Khayyam are reflecting his beautiful personality that will make an invigorating effect of a fresh breeze on your mind. The book is an original combination of Middle Eastern Wisdom and Russian language perfect rhyming. It is a fascinating study tool for all interested in world classics, as well as for professors or students of Russian language. The sound track of Zoia's voice reading the stanzas is easily accessible. Zoia Eliseyeva has lived in California for 19 years. She has a Master's Degree in Education. She teaches ESL, Russian, and Spanish. Her first publications appeared 17 years ago. The other last names of Zoia by marriages in the USA are Burkhart and Sproesser.
