About the Author: Angelica Ribeiro holds a master's degree in multicultural education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has worked with English learners and preservice teachers in the United States and Brazil for over seventeen years.
Currently a PhD candidate at Texas A&M University, Ribeiro studies curriculum and instruction with a focus on English as a second language. She hopes to one day work as a higher-education professor while helping others benefit from her happiness research. She lives in Houston, Texas.
