Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Gesundheit - Stressmanagement, Note: 2,0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Fragestellung, inwiefern Routinen und Rituale beim Stressabbau und bei der Leistungsunterstützung im Leistungssport helfen. Die Untersuchung wird anhand des NBA-Spielers Stephen Curry beispielhaft durchgeführt. Nach einer kurzen Einführung werden zunächst die grundlegenden Begriffe 'Routine', 'Rituale' und 'Stress' definiert. Anschließend wird die Thematik des Leistungssports eingehender betrachtet. Danach liegt der Fokus auf Coping-Strategien zur Stressbewältigung. Hierbei werden die Methoden des autogenen Trainings, der progressiven Muskelrelaxation sowie naive Bewältigungsstrategien dargestellt. Im Anschluss daran wird nochmals auf die Thematik der Routine näher eingegangen. Speziell die Warm-Up Routine im Leistungssport wird genauer betrachtet. Dann wird das Beispiel des NBA-Spielers Stephen Curry fokussiert. Abschließend wird noch auf die Leistungssteigerung und den Stressabbau durch Routinen eingegangen. Immer wieder geraten wir Menschen in Situationen, die wir als stressig empfinden und in denen verschiedene Menschen auf sehr unterschiedliche Methoden der Stressreduktion zurückgreifen. Gerade für Sportler treten solche Situationen oft vor Wettkämpfen bzw. wichtigen sportlichen Ereignissen auf, also genau in den Momenten, in denen höchste Konzentration und Leistungsbereitschaft gefragt ist. Wie aber kann in solchen Situationen das Stressempfinden gesenkt werden und welche Vorgehensweisen und Techniken gibt es, die gleichzeitig nicht nur Stress reduzieren, sondern außerdem auch noch zur Leistungsoptimierung führen können? Menschliche Gewohnheiten, wie Routinen und Rituale, sind in vielen Kulturen in sehr vielen Bereichen des Lebens ein fester Bestandteil. So auch im Sport und das vor allem, wenn es sich um den Leistungssport handelt. Jeder Spitzensportler besitzt dementsprechend ein festes Repertoire
