Also in this volume, an overview of Chinese cartoonists Feng Zikai and Liao BinXiong who represented the leading edge of cartooning in China during the early 20th century

About the Author: Suat Tong Ng: Ng Suat Tong is a doctor working in Singapore. He has written reviews for The Comics Journal since 1993, and was the editor of the Eisner and Harvey nominated anthology, Rosetta.
Craig Thompson: Craig Thompson's graphic novels include Habibi, Blankets (for which he received three Harvey Awards for Best Artist, Best Graphic Album of Original Work, and Best Cartoonist; and two Eisner Awards for Best Graphic Album and Best Writer/Artist); Goodbye, Chunky Rice; and Carnet de Voyage.
Paul Pope: Pope has made a name for himself internationally as an artist and designer. He has been working primarily in comics since the early '90s. His books include: Battling Boy, Batman Year 100, 100%, THB, One Trick Rip Off, Escapo, and Heavy Liquid.
Jason Sæterøy: John Arne Sæterøy, better known by the pen name Jason, is a Norwegian cartoonist, known for his sparse drawing style and silent, anthropomorphic animal characters. His books include Hey, Wait..., Sshhhh!, Meow, Baby!, and The Left Bank Gang
Michael Kupperman: A comic artist, illustrator, and writer who lives in New York City. The author of three books of comics: Snake'N'Bacon's Cartoon Cabaret, Tales Designed to Thrizzle Volume 1, and Tales Designed to Thrizzle Volume 2. He also created the humorous book Mark Twain's Autobiography 1910-2010.
