On a hot August day in Tennessee, C. C. Andrews received news that no mother ever wants to hear. Four of her five sons had been involved in a terrible car accident.
Arriving at the scene of the crash, C. C. discovered that all four brothers were badly injured and pinned in the vehicle. As she watched, rescuers laboriously removed them from the twisted wreckage one-by-one. All four boys had to be life-flighted to Vanderbilt. Her youngest son, six-year-old Jackson, was pulled from the crash paralyzed due to his injuries.
As his brothers slowly recovered and Jackson clung to life, C. C. remained unaware of the miracle that occurred that fateful day in August: Jackson had died in that car, only to return with an amazing story to share. In the few short seconds he had died at the scene of the accident, the young boy saw Heaven and spoke with Jesus. His observations appear throughout the book-a testament to God's love and the family's faith.
What follows is the inspiring story of how the Andrews family, together with friends and prayer warriors, coped with this tragedy.
