About the Book

Jason White is a simple young man of fourteen years old, with your typical teenage issues. When events in his life place him into situations he never thought he would be in, he has to react based on the training his grandfather had given him. Jason is a half Indian, half White who becomes the victim of a hate crime in his new school. His mother was taken from him before her time and now he has to live with his aging grandfather. After he meets, who he believes is the love of his life, he finds out that he is not even who he thinks he is, but the result of a multi-generation breeding program started by an alien race from the other side of the universe! His forefathers were sent to this world to take part in a very specific breeding program to produce a targeted result. Jason discovers he is the one the aliens have been waiting for. After 1500 generations Jason White is the one who the fate of the world rests upon! Book one in the saga is titled, "Rise of the Death Walkers" Jason White is a teenager who learns he has a destiny in life. Jason is destined to become "The Savior of Mankind". This destiny follows Jason no matter where he goes and he is not sure he is up to the job. When he begins losing the people he loves to the enemy he runs away. Where does he run? The army of all places. He choses the most dangerous job he can think of, a grunt on the front line. The ulterior reason for this is that he wants to die. He can't kill himself because coded into his genes is a safety mechanism that prevents him from taking his own life. Even placing himself on the front lines does not make the task easy because the survival instinct buried deep within him makes him the optimal grunt for the front line. With reflexes off the scale and the ability to tap into animalistic traits, Jason is as close to a super soldier that the army has ever been able to train. Prologue I waited until I saw the signal that everyone was in place before I turned to my second and commanded. "Move out. If it moves and it's not ours it dies." The entire process would take no more than twenty minutes and as I had commanded nothing survived on the opposing forces. We were using electronic pulse guns that would trigger a hefty shock to anyone hit. It was a tribute to the training my men had received that I had not lost a single man in the entire operation. We had reached the objective and were back at our base camp waiting for further orders from the training personal responsible for rating this final exercise in our advanced urban warfare course. I would be notified at the conclusion of the operation if we had received a pass or fail. If I passed I would be given my orders as to my first assignment. "Corporal Whitemar, report to Captain Blake immediately." I flinched as my assumed name was bellowed over the announcement system. Jason White was no more and Jeran Whitemar was who I was and would remain. Jason White was wanted for escaping custody Jeran Whitemar was an unknown in the sea of millions of Americans and thousands of soldiers who volunteered to defend the American way of life.
About the Author: Lawrence was born in Northern New York the oldest son of Lawrence W. Nason Sr. and Dorlene Reyome. A short story he had written for English class was published in a Northern New York Literary magazine when he was 16. He had always thought about becoming a writer as a child but as the reality of life caught up with him, he started looking for ways to break out of the cycle of life many families were caught in during the early eighties. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central high school in 1982 a full year ahead of time and entered the U.S Army at the age of 17. While stationed overseas he met his first wife and married her when he was 19. After his son was born in 1986 he decided to leave the Army and try to support his family in the civilian world. In 1988 he left the United States to live in Germany, a country he had grown to love during his time in the service. During the next twelve years he worked in the Goodyear company which was located in the town he and his wife's family lived in. In 1992 he Graduated from the Apprenticeship program and became a Journeyman in Information Electronics, the equivalent in the United States would be a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. Later he would become a Master in the field. He was unable to pursue my childhood dream of writing a novel until he was not able to work in his chosen field and in 2011 He began writing his first novel.
