Rhoda Mozorosky began her quest for a healthier lifestyle in 1965. Seeing a lack of vegetarian cookbooks, she studied and experimented with nutrition and devised her own recipes to complement a diet of fresh raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. She then opened a vegetarian wellness retreat serving raw and whole cooked foods. Many of those meals are included in Rhoda's Whole Food Recipes with an Essential Guide to Healthful Living.
Mozorosky is a graduate of Los Angeles State University and has taken many graduate classes at UCLA. She taught health in LAUSD for many years.
She studied nutrition with the Life Science Institute in the 1980s and later at the Bionomics Health Research Institute. In 2015, she graduated from the Institute of Integrated Nutrition as a health coach.
Mozorosky believes food is the best medicine and should be prepared in your own kitchen.
