Con este primer número de la Revista de Historia del Fascismo del año 2015 nos reafirmamos en la trayectoria inicia hace cuatro años: difundir la historia del pre-fascismo, del fascismo y del neo-fascismo en un sentido genérico, no solamente haciendo referencia al partido político que triunfó inicialmente en Italia, sino a todo el ambiente político de carácter nacionalista y social que se impuso en buena parte de Europa de los años 30. Lo hemos dicho y repetido en muchas ocasiones: el fascismo es hoy Historia, sólo Historia y nada más (y nada menos) que Historia. Por tanto, no pretendemos hacer "política", ni promover una ideología que ha quedado atrás en el devenir histórico y que hoy encontraría un marco muy diferente del que fue el suyo para afirmarse. La historia requiere objetividad y serenidad, algo que la política no puede nunca aportar. Tras nuestro estudio sobre José Antonio y la Derecha que publicamos en los números XXXIV y XXXV, iniciamos ahora un nuevo ensayo en tres partes sobre el movimiento falangista y sus relaciones con la violencia. Hemos dividido este estudio en una primera parte sobre las consideraciones ideológicas y doctrinales con las que José Antonio, Onésimo Redondo, Ramiro Ledesma y Ruiz de Alda abordaron la cuestión de la violencia como estrategia política. En las partes siguientes descenderemos a la historia y evolución de los episodios de violencia que rodearon la corta historia de Falange Española y lo que supusieron para este partido y su dirección. La segunda parte de nuestro estudio sobre el "francismo" (que se autotituló siempre como "el verdadero fascismo francés") y sobre la personalidad de su fundador, Marcel Bucard, nos llevan al período de la ocupación alemana y del gobierno de Vichy. A pesar de la endeblez de efectivos del Partido Francista, seguir su trayectoria en esos años nos servirá también para analizar los motivos del fracaso de la "colaboración" y las relaciones entre los distintos líderes de las formaciones fascistas francesas: Doriot, Déat, Bucard, Darnand... Un nuevo jalón en el estudio de la "Revolución Conservadora" alemana de la mano de Armin Mohler, nos llevará en esta ocasión a profundizar en la materia de estudio y definir el núcleo de pensadores en torno a los cuales cristalizó el fenómeno. La tesis del autor es que el movimiento surgió del rechazo al talante conservador y al pragmatismo de la época guillermina, el II Reich, estableciendo una contradicción fundamental entre los valores de ese tiempo y la urgencia que experimentaban los precursores del movimiento de realizar un "III Reich" tal como fue definido con Moeller van den Bruck en la obra del mismo título que inspiró a toda una generación. Que el nazismo fue una doctrina con rasgos particularmente diferentes al nacional-sindicalismo es algo evidente, sin embargo, algunos de los que se reclamaron falangistas no dudaron durante los años 36- 43 especialmente, en componer poemas alabando al movimiento hitleriano. El autor de este ensayo pasa una apresurada revista a toda esta literatura, percibiéndose que constituye una tendencia de la época y seguramente es la muestra extrema de lo que fue la "germanofilia" en la España deprimida y exangüe de aquellos años.
