About the Book

In "Rhapsodies and Musings" Ketaki Datta examines the poetry of Sharmila Ray, and Tania Chakravertty looks at the poetry of Kiriti Sengupta. Readers will gain a good understanding of these two well-renowned Indian poets. These explorations are written in a way that any English-reader will easily understand. And they offer more than just a surface look at these poets. We need more works like "Rhapsodies and Musings" so that the English-speakers can enjoy the ethereal, spiritual beauty of Indian English poetry - English-language poetry by the Bengali poets, to be precise!
