Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Musik - Sonstiges, Note: 1,0, Philipps-Universität Marburg (Musikwissenschaftliches Institut), Veranstaltung: Musik und ihre Vermittlung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der folgenden schriftlichen Ausarbeitung werde ich exemplarisch anhand des Werkes Peter und der Wolf einen Einblick in die Praxis der Musikvermittlung geben und einige Thesen in Bezug auf die Nachhaltigkeit dieses musikalischen Märchens erarbeiten. Ein wichtiger Aspekt bei dieser Arbeit ist der zeitgeschichtliche und politische Hintergrund vor dem das Werk entstanden ist. Als besonders erwähnenswert erweist sich für mich dabei die Tatsache, dass der russische Komponist Sergej Prokofjew dem Stück nachweisbar eine eindeutige pädagogische 'Werksidee' zu Grunde gelegt hat und diese Komposition nunmehr seit etwa 50 Jahren fortwährend in die Unterrichtspraxis an Schulen eingebunden wird. Somit wird Peter und der Wolf gegenwärtig zumeist ausschließlich unter dem Aspekt einer didaktisch-vermittelnden Sinfonie für Kinder behandelt. Dennoch ist es meiner Meinung nach durchaus relevant, die Entstehungs- und Rezeptionsgeschichte des Werkes in den Fokus zu nehmen, vor allem da hier aus musikgeschichtlicher Perspektive immer wieder eine massive Veranschaulichung von Indoktrination angenommen wird. Es erscheint mir daher wichtig aufzuzeigen, wie die Machtpolitik der 19030er Jahre die Kunst instrumentalisiert hat und wie sich das kulturpolitische Umfeld auf die Biografie Prokofjews' und somit auf sein musikalisches Schaffen ausgewirkt hat. Weiterhin versuche ich einige Überlegungen bezüglich der Wirkung und Beliebtheit des Stückes bei jungen Menschen festzuhalten und die Besonderheiten hervorzuheben, die das Stück innerhalb des pädagogischen Standardrepertoires der Gegenwart etablierten. Da sich die Quellenlage bei dieser Arbeit als sehr schwierig erwies und nur wenig Forschungsliteratur zu diesem spezifischen Themengegenstand vorhanden ist, werde ich vor allem eige
