Anne-Gaelle WEBER, La forme des nuages: science et poesie au tournant des XVIIIe et XIXe siecle, RLC XC, n 3, juillet-septembre 2016, p. 271-290.La publication, par Luke Howard, de On the Modifications of Clouds, en 1803, pourrait apparaitre comme l'une des manifestations de la specialisation des disciplines savantes et de la separation des sciences et de la litterature qui semblent marquer la fin du systeme des Belles Lettres . Le jeune chimiste et meteorologue invente en effet la classification des nuages, en arrachant les nuees aux domaines de la poesie et de la theologie. En realite, l'ouvrage et sa reception temoignent de la maniere dont le traitement des nuages a constitue, en sciences comme en litterature, le lieu d'une interrogation sur les limites et la visee du discours. Les dialogues qui se nouent alors entre poetes et savants autour de l'oeuvre de Howard et de ses reeditions successives revelent la grande diversite des articulations possibles entre textes litteraires et savants; ils temoignent de preoccupations communes, tant poetiques qu'hermeneutiques.Eniko? BAUERNHUBER, Les relations litteraires franco-hongroises a travers les traductions de Zoltan Ambrus, RLC XC, n 3, juillet-septembre 2016, p. 291-306.Dans notre article, les relations litteraires franco-hongroises sont examinees et presentees a travers l'oeuvre de Zoltan Ambrus (1861-1932), ecrivain, journaliste, critique et traducteur hongrois aux talents multiples qui nourrit un vif interet pour la litterature francaise. Son oeuvre, qui temoigne de riches relations avec la France, offre un bon exemple des liens qui se tissent entre les vies culturelles, litteraires, artistiques francaise et hongroise de la fin du XIXe siecle. Ambrus est egalement un important traducteur et un critique considerable de son epoque. Sa traduction la plus importante est celle de Madame Bovary (1857), publiee en 1904 en Hongrie. Son attachement profond a la litterature francaise se manifeste dans ses oeuvres litteraires, ses critiques et ses traductions.Cecile KOVACSHAZY, Le psychanalyste de Nyugat, ses emules hongrois et les contes cruels francais, RLC XC, n 3, juillet-septembre 2016, p. 307-317.Cet article montre combien les circulations et les transferts culturels en Hongrie a l'epoque de la celebre revue Nyugat sont plus complexes qu'il n'y parait. A partir de sa figure nodale qu'est le psychanalyste Ferenczi, on montrera l'influence directe de la litterature francaise sur les ecrivains de Nyugat, non pas l'influence formelle et thematique d'ecrivains contemporains de la NRF - la chose est maintenant bien demontree -, mais des ecrivains francais issus de la generation des contes cruels, que certains auteurs de Nyugat assimilent afin de leur conferer une teneur esthetique magyarisee . Ainsi la modernite que revendiquait le groupe de Nyugat s'approche plus d'une tradition naturaliste de la fin du XIXe siecle que des avant-gardes pourtant contemporaines. C'est par la collision entre l'influence de la psychanalyse venant de Vienne et de la psychologie francaise, et la litterature francaise fin-de-siecle que se dessine une specificite de la litterature hongroise dans la premiere generation de Nyugat (1908-1933): la repsychologisation hongroise des contes cruels francais.Florian MAHOT-BOUDIAS, La Verite est concrete, Controverses politiques autour de la poesie pure dans l'Europe des annees 1930, RLC XC, n 3, juillet-septembre 2016, p. 319-333.Dans le contexte de politisation extreme du travail intellectuel dans l'entredeux-guerres, le debat europeen autour de la notion de poesie pure emerge dans les annees 1920 et s'intensifie pendant les annees 1930. Le concept est une construction collective et variable clivant le champ litteraire. Certains poetes marxistes en font alors une lecture orientee pour la ranger du cote de l'attentisme politique, voire de la compromission fasciste. Il s'agit ici de retracer la dynamique de ces controverses dans les revues de l'epoque et dans les oeuvres de L. Aragon, W. H. Auden et B. Brecht, qui se revelent centraux au sein du reseau intellectuel du temps. On montrera ainsi en quoi ces auteurs ont valorise une poetique alternative, a travers des livres melant poesie et reportage, comme In Time of War d'Auden et Hourra l'Oural d'Aragon.Chiara MENGOZZI, De l'utilite et de l'inconvenient du concept de World Literature, RLC XC, n 3, juillet-septembre 2016, p. 335-349.Apres avoir trace une breve genealogie du concept de World literature, nous precisons ce que l'on designe aujourd'hui par cette notion en proposant un compte rendu du debat organise autour de quatre problemes cruciaux: la definition, l'echelle, le rapport entre la dimension locale et globale des phenomenes culturels et la place des litteratures postcoloniales dans le marche mondial. Ensuite, nous analysons deux exemples emblematiques de World literature: Maps de Nuruddin Farah et The Remains of the Day de Kazuo Ishiguro. Nous demontrons que ces deux auteurs mettent en scene les conditions de possibilite de leur discours et thematisent les procedes de lecture qu'une approche mondiale de la litterature aujourd'hui exige, a savoir la capacite de regarder simultanement de pres et de loin.
