Darüber hinaus spielen soft facts wie Führung, Motivation, Verantwortung und Kooperation eine essentielle Rolle. Der Untersuchungsgegenstand dieser Arbeit ist das Problem des Retention Managements von High- und Top-Potentials. Diese Mitarbeitergruppe ist qualifiziert, talentiert und hoch arbeitsmarktfähig. Es besteht eine erhebliche Nachfrage nach diesen Angestellten, jedoch ist das Angebot an fähigen Fach- und Führungskräften sehr gering. Aufgrund dieser Diskrepanz auf dem Arbeitsmarkt sowie dem individuellen Wissensvorsprung ist für High- und Top-Potentials der gängige Wunsch nach Arbeitsplatzsicherheit oft nachrangig und dies erschwert dem Arbeitgeber die Bindung dieser kompetenten Mitarbeiter.
