He is sensitive, godly, and the most giving man that Charisse has ever encountered, but she has difficulty accepting his offer to love her like no other can. Growing up in E. Orange New Jersey is where she began to write and act in various productions within her school, as well as neighborhood. She attended the infamous Grambling State University, in Louisiana from 1984-1986, majoring in Media, and Theater Communications. She returned to higher education in the spring of 2000 to pursue her B.A. Degree in Special Education. In 2004 Cynthia graduated Suma Cum Laude, from New Jersey City University, located in Jersey City with a duel B.A. in Liberal Arts, and Special Education. Cynthia is presently living in the Atlanta Georgia area. Miss Stokes is currently embarking on the beginning of a community children's theater, in the Atlanta area. Cynthia is the author of two, Inspirational Novels entitled: the first being recently published Restoration, and Walking in the Name which will debut sometime in 2015. She is reprising her first original Stage Play which was accepted to the D.C. Black Theater Festival in the summer of 2012, entitled Time to Wake Up. She will cast with a group of up and coming Actors/Actresses from the Atlanta Metro area. Cynthia has other projects that she is currently working on as well a series for television, and hopes to inspire her audience with truthful tales of Christian love, and decision making, that pleases God above all else.
