Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Film und Fernsehen, Note: 1,7, Hochschule Fresenius; Köln, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit befasst sich mit der Analyse zeitgenössischer Formate des Genres Reality TV auf dem deutschen Fernsehmarkt auf die Repräsentation des Rollenbildes der Frau sowie eventueller geschlechterbezogener Stereotypisierungen. Ziel der Bachelorarbeit ist es herauszustellen, welche Rollenbilder und Rollenerwartungen der Frau in den gezeigten Inhalten durch explizite und implizite Darstellungsformen inszeniert und gesellschaftlich propagiert werden. Außerdem wird untersucht, inwieweit dabei auf geschlechterbezogene Klischees oder weibliche Stereotype zurückgegriffen wird. Hierfür wurde exemplarisch die erste Episode dreier zeitgenössischer Formate des Genres Reality TV auf dem deutschen Fernsehmarkt aus dem Jahr 2022, "Der Bachelor", "Are You The One - Realitystars in Love" und "Germany's Next Topmodel", in Bezug auf die Darstellung des Rollenbildes der Frau und weiblicher Stereotype, analysiert. Das Rollenbild der Frau und die damit einhergehende gesellschaftliche Erwartungshaltung an Optik und Verhalten des weiblichen Geschlechtes hat sich in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten einem differenzierten Wandlungsprozess unterzogen. Mit der Frauenbewegung haben sich Frauen weitestgehend aus der Vorherrschaft des Mannes etabliert und fordern nunmehr ihr Recht auf Selbstbestimmung, Unabhängigkeit und Individualität. Das weibliche Schönheitsideal verkörpert nach wie vor ein zentrales Element der weiblichen Rollenerwartung und beeinflusst dabei nachhaltig die physische und psychische Gesundheit von Frauen weltweit. Geschlechterklischees und Stereotypisierungen halten sich dabei konstant, auch in der heutigen modernen, westlichen Gesellschaft. Die mediale Darstellung der Frau, insbesondere durch Massenmedien wie das Fernsehen, spielt dabei eine tragende Rolle bei der Implementierung und Manifestier
