Cien años de soledad es una "nueva novela" que mezcla lo real-histórico con el mundo mítico, mientras que El general en su laberinto es una novela histórica y biográfica con el protagonista Simón Bolívar. En Noticia de un secuestro, García Márquez regresa a sus orígenes y recupera el reportaje refiriéndose a fuentes que prueban que su novela-reportaje cuenta la pura verdad sobre la realidad asustante colombiana, aunque los límites entre realidad y ficción no estén siempre muy claros. El presente estudio analiza el carácter de proceso de la representación histórica que empieza con un mundo universal e inconcreto en Cien años de soledad, se acerca concretamente a Latinoamérica en El general en su laberinto, y acaba en la realidad colombiana con Noticia de un secuestro. Además, este estudio enfoca los elementos históricos y sus diferentes niveles de significado en las tres novelas, y analiza entre otros por qué García Márquez desmitifica a Simón Bolívar, el héroe más grande de América Latina, o por qué humaniza a Pablo Escobar y los sicarios. Se hará un análisis de los elementos que utiliza el autor colombiano para hacernos creer su visión de la historia. En las tres novelas el autor reconstruye la realidad a través de textos y métodos específicos. Se investigará con cuáles finalidades García Márquez nos representa la historia de esas maneras. ¿Qué nos quiere decir al reescribir la historiografía? ¿No es acaso peligroso que nos quiera mostrar su realidad a través de estos textos? Y sobre todo, ¿es así de inofensivo tomar sus novelas como verídicas? About the Author: De padre español y madre alemana, Melanie Cebrián nació en Donaueschingen (Alemania) en 1980. Estudió español, inglés, italiano y francés en Freiburg, Alicante, Lyon y Cork. Terminó su carrera universitaria con el título académico "Magister Artium". Debido a su parte española, siempre se interesó por el mundo hispánico, sobre todo por la cultura colombiana. Participó entre otros en un documental sobre el barrio de Pablo Escobar en Medellín. Actualmente es profesora de idiomas en el instituto. Als Tochter eines spanischen Vaters und einer deutschen Mutter wurde Melanie Cebrián 1980 in Donaueschingen geboren. Sie studierte Spanisch, Englisch, Französisch und Italienisch in Freiburg, Alicante, Lyon und Cork, und beendete ihr Studium mit dem akademischen Grad des Magister Artium. Aufgrund ihrer spanischen Herkunft interessierte sie sich schon immer für die spanischsprachige Welt, besonders aber für die Kultur Kolumbiens. Sie beteiligte sich u.a. an einem Projekt über das Viertel von Pablo Escobar in Medellín. Zurzeit unterrichtet sie Fremdsprachen am Gymnasium.
