In Holes in Their Hearts, best friends Mary Jane and Helen find true love when they marry local Hillsdale, Virginia bachelors Martin and Jed. Happily ever after, right?
Renewal of Their Hearts candidly follows the next stage of the newlyweds' lives, but it also delves deeper into the lives of others in the community. The focus shifts to Beverly Warren, owner of the local bed-and-breakfast and the newest visitor to this "Norman Rockwell" township, Florida horse farm owner Bud McDonough.
Beverly is running a successful business on her own and holds strong ties with her community. But when the two meet, a whirlwind romance is set in motion that will wreak havoc to all their best-laid plans.
Separately, Renewal chronicles the overcoming marital struggles of local resident Abigail as she attempts to keep her home life disguised from the one people see at her work.
A fast-paced romance is just one of the story lines that will plunge you into an action-packed week in Hillsdale. Ultimately, Renewal of Their Hearts reveals the healing power of prayer and God's transformational impact on people who relinquish their past, present, and future to Jesus Christ.
About the Author: John Wallace enjoyed multiple work careers where his roles focused on using his consultative skills in professional sectors. He now writes romance novels and assists Pastors with issues related to disciplemaking as the Arkansas Partner for Navigator Church Ministries.
Both his education and earlier work required numerous moves across America. First introduced to the Great Dismal Swamp of Virginia while attending Regent University School of Law, Wallace's fond memories of the place struck him as the perfect setting for the fictional township of his Hearts series. The first two books, Holes in Their Hearts and Renewal of Their Hearts, touch on universal issues people face in relationships while also sharing the life-transforming hope and healing that only God's love gives. A third novel will be available in 2018.
The author and his wife, Juanita, moved from Marion County, Florida to Van Buren, Arkansas in 2016, and are members of Heritage Church.
