Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Theologie - Religion als Schulfach, Note: 2,0, Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Betrachtet man mögliche Unterschiede bezüglich des Religionsunterrichts innerhalb von Deutschland, so fällt schnell die immer wiederkehrende Verschiedenheit zwischen West- und Ostdeutschland auf. In dieser Arbeit soll der Blick auf diese Verschiedenheit gerichtet werden. Dies geschieht, indem zum einen das Modell des konfessionell-kooperativen Unterrichts, welches in Westdeutschland eine große Beliebtheit genießt und zum anderen das Brandenburger Modell, das - wie der Name es bereits vermuten lässt - in Ostdeutschland der Vorreiter ist, untersucht wird. Auf diese Weise soll die Frage untersucht werden, welches der beiden Modelle in der Postmoderne und somit auch für die Zukunft des Religionsunterrichts an den Schulen Deutschlands besser geeignet ist. Im ersten Schritt wird der konfessionell-kooperative Unterricht genauer beleuchtet, indem zunächst grundlegende Dinge erwähnt werden, bevor über eine mögliche Gestaltung und die Ziele des Unterrichts gesprochen wird. Abschließend wird der Blick auf das interreligiöse Lernen gerichtet, welches in der zunehmend pluralen Gesellschaft immer bedeutsamer wird. Daraufhin wird das Brandenburger Modell thematisiert. Wo liegen dessen Ursprünge? Aus welchen Bausteinen besteht der Unterricht? Wie sehr wird er von äußeren Einflüssen geprägt? Auch hier wird zum Abschluss das interreligiöse Lernen besprochen. Abgeschlossen wird die Arbeit mit einem Fazit, in dem die Erkenntnisse des vorherigen Kapitels prägnant wiederholt werden, wobei der Fokus auf den Stärken und Schwächen der jeweiligen Modelle liegt. Anhand dieses Vergleichs soll dann eine Antwort auf die Frage, welches der Modelle zukunftsträchtiger erscheint, gegeben werden bzw. ein allgemeiner Ausblick in die Zukunft des deutschen Religionsunterrichts erfolgen.
