Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 14 Punkte, Philipps-Universität Marburg, Veranstaltung: Erziehungs- und Bildungswissenschaft, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Einleitung "Die Veröffentlichung der Ergebnisse des internationalen SchülerInnenleistungsvergleichs PISA im Jahr 2001 markiert eine Zäsur in der deutschen Bildungsdiskussion" (Pauli 2008, S.7), begleitet von Forderungen nach Reformvorschlägen zur Förderung der Bildung in Deutschland. Auffällig bei aller Kritik ist jedoch, dass sie sich vorwiegend auf die schulische Bildung bezieht - die Jugendhilfe als Bildungsinstanz wird in der öffentlichen Diskussion meist ausgespart. Doch "ist es wirklich noch tragfähig, Schule für Bildung und Jugendhilfe für die Schwachen, das Soziale und die Freizeit verantwortlich zu machen?" (Thimm 1999, S.119) Das Thema Kooperation von Jugendarbeit und Schule ist nicht neu, Gilles bezeichnet es gar als "abgegriffen" (Gilles 2001, S.135) und die Notwendigkeit zur Zusammenarbeit als unumstritten. Dennoch scheint es vor dem Hintergrund "gesellschaftlicher Modernisierungsprozesse [...], welche die Aufwachsbedingungen von Kindern und Jugendlichen nachhaltig verändert haben" (Seithe 1999, S.78) nicht zu verwundern, dass die Kooperation von Jugendarbeit und Schule im Rahmen der Gestaltung ganztägiger Bildungsangebote in der öffentlichen und der fachlichen Debatte eine Rennaissance erfährt. Beide Institutionen scheinen, wenn auch mit unterschiedlichen Ansätzen, den Auftrag zu verfolgen, "förderliche schulische und außerschulische Bedingungen des Aufwachsens für Kinder und Jugendliche" (Becker & Schirp 2001, S.8) zu schaffen. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Hausarbeit soll es darum gehen, bildungstheoretische Gründe, Schwierigkeiten und Chancen einer Kooperation von Jugendarbeit und Schule aufzuzeigen.
