Fachhochschule Köln (Wirtschaft), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Thesis spezialisiert sich auf das Thema "Nachhaltigkeit in der Modebranche" und stellt eine Untersuchung der Zahlungsbereitschaft von KonsumentInnen der Altersgruppe 19-35 Jahren dar. Mithilfe des Marktforschungsverfahrens Price Sensitivity Meter von dem niederländischen Ökonomen Peter van Westendorp wird eine eigenständige Forschung für drei Textilprodukte durchgeführt, durch die greifbare Handlungsvorschläge für preispolitische Entscheidungen für Anbieter der Modeindustrie gewonnen werden konnten. In Zukunft wird die Modebranche, wie schon die Lebensmittel- und die Drogeriebranche, ihr Sortiment nachhaltiger ausrichten, die Abwicklung der Produktion verläuft bei nachhaltigen Produkten nach sozial und ökologisch fairen Standards. Diese Arbeit zeigt beispielhaft für die Produkte T-Shirt, Jeans und Schuhe einen aus Sicht der TeilnehmerInnen erforschten Akzeptanzbereich von Aufpreisen für eine sozial und ökologisch gerechte Fertigung. Darüber hinaus wird das Verhältnis von VerbraucherInnen zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit im Jahre 2020 anhand der Ergebnisse der Untersuchung präsentiert. Die Beobachtungen dieser Arbeit bieten für Anbieter und Unternehmen der Textilindustrie wertvolle Preisvorstellungen, Erwartungen, Wünsche und Hoffnungen von KonsumentInnen rund um das Thema "Nachhaltigkeit in der Modebranche".
