Aus diesem Grund befasst sich das vorliegende Buch in wissenschaftlicher Form mit zwei Themenfeldern, die im Kontext der kommerziellen Kommunikation von Sportvereinen elementar sind: Dem Sportsponsoring und der Kommerzialisierung sozialer Medien. Dieses Buch bietet Aufschluss darüber, welche Möglichkeiten die Sportvereine nutzen können und wo die jeweiligen Kommunikationsmittel an ihre Grenzen stoßen. Neben Vereinsverantwortlichen kann es auch für Marketingverantwortliche in Unternehmen aller Größen aufschlussreiche Erkenntnisse in Bezug auf die Sportkommunikation bieten. About the Author: Der Autor Arndt-Philipp Ohms wurde im Jahr 1990 in Bad Pyrmont geboren und beschäftigte sich bereits in jungen Jahren mit den Hintergründen des professionellen Fußballs. Nach dem Abitur nahm er ein Bachelor-Studium im Fachbereich Sportmanagement an der Ostfalia Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften in Salzgitter auf. Parallel zu diesem Studiengang bekleidete der Autor ein Vorstandsamt bei dem ImPuls - Studentische Sportberatung e.V. im Ressort Finanzen - einem studentischen Verein mit dem Ziel, das theoretisch erlernte Wissen in praktischen Projekten umzusetzen. Als persönliche Schwerpunkte kristallisierten sich in diversen theoretisch und praktisch orientierten Projekten, die unter anderem für den Deutschen Boxsport Verband e.V. durchgeführt wurden, neben der übergeordneten Organisation die Aspekte Kommunikation und Sponsoring heraus. Durch eine Betätigung bei der KSV Holstein von 1900 e.V. ("Holstein Kiel") konnte das gesammelte Fachwissen aus diesen Bereichen um direkte und praktische Einblicke aus dem Profifußball erweitert werden. Nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss des Bachelor-Studiums nahm der Autor einen Master-Studiengang in der Fachrichtung Führung in Dienstleistungsunternehmen auf.
