About the Book

The second great war arises, and the Kingdom of Itrión prepares the advance towards the South. The monk of the Order of the Lizard must bring Kzahobem back from the Abyss, there is no longer a choice. Alliances, betrayals and hopes intersect in this first installment of the trilogy. Faith, weapons and the trap (that kind of magic given by the gods) will do their part, but time is running out.
Region of Power is a novel set in a fantastic medieval universe where, both the protagonist and the other secondary characters, seek to achieve their goals (and victory); and they do it through physical force, faith (within the various religions in this fictional world), or their own will. In this volume, "The King", the monarchs of the main Kingdoms are presented in conflict, participating directly in the development of the confrontations; and, it is also exposed here, the dependence of all the characters, to their deities. In the first installment of Region of Power, the different Regions in the lands of the Aebelath, enter into a second great war; Here the different preparatory events for the conflict and their development are exposed: The Kingdom of Itrión, again raises its weapons, and tests its power, naval and land, marching towards the south but, this time, with new strategies, and new allies; The Kingdom of Radhas, meanwhile, will seek once again the alliance with the Kingdom of Flíia -Kingdom of winged men, Kingdom of the Lands of Air-. As in the first great war, in the Region of Power, the Cilaanis Region is the main affected by the conflicts between the different Kingdoms and Religious Orders, but the Kinae Region, south of Cilaanis, and the Muktae Region, on the other side of the Sea of Lizards; this time they will also be swept away.
The characters, as in our universe, participate in intrigue and betrayal; love, faith and hope; and the conflicts are not limited to the different kingdoms that dispute the lands of the Cilaanis Region or, in the future, the rest of the Aebelath regions; but also, within each one of them; even within the same families ... while the different religions lead the souls of the faithful who live there. The military Power of the Kingdoms is equated with the Power of faith but also, the domain of the trap is capable of unbalancing the balance. In the development of this volume it is also considered how some characters evolve, as they learn from their own experiences; since the war does not leave anyone indifferent, whether or not victory is achieved: in Region of Power, The King, this idea is exposed through the feeling, thinking and acting of its characters. This is a book that describes and plant the events and their characters, in a quick way; which invites you to know more about what is going to happen, and also to know the actors of the events. Faith in this universe, presented in fictitious, monotheistic and polytheistic religions, dictates the conduct of men; pushing them, on certain occasions, to do things against their will and, on others, to constrain them in their wills. Hope in a messiah is also mentioned, and collective thinking about the times that the scriptures of the different religions speak. In Region of Power, men trust their faith, but they also doubt; just like they do with themselves. In this book, the occult demands its payment: it cheats, but it also takes its share. Victory is achieved in different ways, and here that premise arises. The invitation to know the Region of Power, is to know the universe of the Aebelath lands, with its landscapes, its climates, its animals and its actors; and, obviously, his scheme, his faith and military power.
