Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Deutsch - Deutsch als Fremdsprache, Note: 1,3, Universität Leipzig (Herder Institut), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ausgehend von den traumatischen Erfahrungen der eigenen Schulzeit, basierend auf unverständlichen Lehrwerken und "körperlichen Züchtigungen", forderte der am 15. Oktober 1896 in den französischen Seealpen geborene Sohn einer Bauernfamilie, Célestin Freinet, eine radikale Reformierung der traditionellen Schule. Entgegen deren standardisiertem Nützlichkeitsstreben entwirft Freinet eine Schule des Volkes, die die Verschiedenheit der Persönlichkeitsentfaltung des Schülers als Ressource ins Zentrum pädagogischer Handlung stellt. Neben schulischer Orientierung an der umgebenden Lebenswelt der Schüler und deren natürlicher Bedürfnisbefriedigung erfolgt dabei eine lehrerunabhängige Eigenständigkeit auf Initiative der Lernenden. Die fundamentale Reform Freinets "Pädagogik vom Kinde aus" lässt sich dabei vom Prinzip "le tâtonnement experimental" (übersetzt "Das tastende Versuchen) leiten, welches anschließend an einen Abriss der nationalen Reformbestrebungen ausgeführt wird. Nachfolgend wird sich in der Vorstellung von Freinets "L'Ecole moderne" (übersetzt "Die moderne Schule) auf die zentralen und thematisch für die Hausarbeit relevanten Grundsätze beschränkt. Im Rahmen der eigenen Recherche zum Thema der Freinet-Pädagogik stellte sich die Frage, inwieweit sich die anregend empfundenen Unterrichtstechniken des "freien Textes" und der Korrespondenz auf den Kontext des deutschen Fremdsprachenunterrichts außerhalb des Rahmens der Regelschulzeit übertragen ließen, welche im Hauptteil der Hausarbeit anhand der greifenden didaktisch-methodischen Prinzipien Erläuterung finden. Im anschließenden Fazit wird auf die Rentabilität des Pädagogikmodells in Bezug auf die eigenen Schlussfolgerungen der Lehrpraxis eingegangen.
