About the Book

Redrum on Reba - A Story From Dystopity

It was the year 3320, a year that was shaping up to be a very good one for a space bounty hunter named Clover. Clover took pride in her job and had yet to come across a bounty contract that she couldn't handle up until now. Things changed when she received a contract for a bounty that was unlike all the others, sending her on a mission that would change her life forever. Havoc had broken out on a planet called Reba as Sintec Corporation hastily proceeded in rolling out its new body snatcher pilot program. A program which allowed wealthy patrons to digitally take control of the bodies of willing Rebans who had agreed to participate in the pilot program out of sheer financial desperation. The program had successfully turned the planet into a hedonistic wasteland, a result of the rich upper classes using their rent'a'bodies to carry out the most despicable and unmentionable acts imaginable. Will Clover be able to save the day, going after the most difficult bounty she had ever faced while working to put an end to Sintec's wicked pilot program? You'll have to read "Redrum on Reba" to find out!

About the Author

Adric Laser (born March 07, 1983) is an American novelist, critic, public speaker, essayist, and columnist. He writes in several genres but is known best for his literary contributions in the science fiction genre. His upcoming releases include Dystopity - The One-Eyed Man (2020) and the short stories or novellas set in the same universe, A Rebel Was Born on Horus (2020), The Snake That Ate Its Own Tail (2020) and Redrum on Reba (2020) is expected to turn a lot of heads and make the Dystopity Collection in general, a huge success.

Laser was born in San Francisco, California, USA, and spent most of his childhood growing up in Seattle, Washington, USA. Laser's works have been influenced by classic literature, popular fantasy, and science fiction; he often uses tropes from genre fiction.

His background working in the entertainment industry has given him a strong character-focused approach, which many say contributed to the realism in his published works. His fiction often features characters that are highly skilled while at the same time coming from very troubled backgrounds and are forced to make difficult choices, often with odds that affect the lives of many.

Laser's experience as a teacher of English and History to secondary students in Southeast Asia gave him a profound opportunity to better understand the motivations of a more youthful generation. As such, many attribute this factor playing a big role in explaining why his writing is so appealing to younger generations.

He has written three books on creative writing and is a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Authors Club, a group dedicated to supporting its community of talented self-published science fiction authors gain additional exposure and experience in the ever-growing genre of modern science fiction.
