About the Book

A true story! Almost murdered by the police, a nineteen-year-old Hippie with their first psychotic break. He is a Psychic and god loving pollyanna. A nail-biting adventure of a 1960's Hippie Prince in the brutal hands of violent Redneck Cops, "The System!" While the Hippie is experiencing spiritual visions of a psychotic break, the redneck cops beat him into a coma. A vivid comparison in the most extremes of public health care with its horror and the beauty and healing of the most exclusive of private care. A telling true story how a southern state is run quietly by a few discreet families and how the promise of a life sentence they cause avoided and total freedom. A loving story of a working single mother and the lucky and indulged Hippie teenager in 1969. A true story about Corry nearly beaten to death in a tortured nail-biting adventure of a 1960's Hippie Prince in the brutal hands of "The Rednecks. A minute by minute description of Corry being overwhelmed by his spirit visitations. What the spirits make clear is his life is in danger. They communicate fear. Corry starts him 100-mile drive from Atlanta, Georgia to get back to his mothers home where he thinks he will find safety. On the way, he entered a rural Georgia, Deep South, Redneck village and stopped by the cops. They beat and brutalize him on the roadside as people drive by shouting "Kill the damn Hippie." The cops discover a big bag of marijuana searching Corry's Hippie Van on the roadside. The story gives descriptions of the jail he is thrown into unconscious and minute to minute details of three days of fierce beatings by half-dozen Redneck Cops. Corry ends up in a coma and nearly dies, and that is how the adventure begins. Feel Corry's despair of being blinded by repeated point-blank pepper spray, Mace, into his burning tormented eyes day after day. Details of the boots and clubs were breaking his helpless body. Feel his fear of being shot as the cops play games with their guns and Corry is wounded. Follow the rescue and coming out of over a week in a coma. Corry awakens tied by hands and feet to a hospital bed. Feel the peril Corry feels being labeled a Drug Dealer and the possible life sentence that can go with it in 1960's Georgia laws. The story begins. About 250 pages of a paperback you don't want to put down.
