About the Author: David Rojay is a trumpet player, opera singer, composer, and novelist. He played in military bands in Korea and Japan. While in Japan, he toured with the NHK Orchestra under the baton of Igor Stravinsky.
After his discharge, David enrolled in the Beverly Hills Academy to study voice. While he continued to play Jazz, he became a member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Choir. Switching to popular music full time, David played with notable entertainers such as Ike and Tina Turner.
While working in Nashville, he met backup singer, Karen Preston; they've been married for thirty years. Their son, Daniel, is an actor and singer/songwriter in Hollywood. David's five other children are Rachel, Eliott, Emory, Samuel and Abraham.
David has written seven novels of Americana. He blogs regularly for Cape Cod newspapers.
