Dr. Lee says, "You think like George Bush-that a school is some fairyland where no child is left behind. I'm here to tell you that most students are left behind."
Much is not as it publicly appears as tales are fogged by lust, egos, and corruption to benefit the villainous Dr. Lee and Mr. Les. The diabolical lovers use their powerful jobs in the school district to enrich themselves on the taxpayers' dime.
"Hope nobody notices you" is the advice new teacher Terry Truman receives on his first day as a business teacher at Les Lee High School. Terry doesn't take this advice seriously. He didn't quit his successful career to pursue teaching just to fade into the woodwork. He wants to be the best teacher possible while imparting a worthy philosophy of life.
The modern education system, however, doesn't reward teachers for being the best they can be. Instead, the system takes starry-eyed young educators and churns out burnouts. Terry's new job quickly opens his eyes to the harsh realities before him.
Undeterred by the landscape, Teacher Terry is on a mission to make a difference in the lives of his students whom he respects and genuinely desires to educate and elevate. Unexpectedly, the rookie teacher encounters many potholes, roadblocks and detours on his way. He perseveres but is weakened by the ongoing negative conditions, circumstances, and personalities.
Can Terry's idealism possibly survive his sobering introduction to the real world of teaching?
