The ultimate conspiracy theory, Reality is a science fiction thriller unlike anything else.
August, 2001
Deep in the heart of Africa, four kidnapped men are forced to compete against each other in a secret game called Reality. They need to survive the scorching heat of the Sahara, and the dangerous wild animals of the savannah, to warn the world in time before the greatest terrorist attack in history takes place.
When British ex-tabloid journalist Charlie Grimer is contacted by Ernst Jaeger, a young investment banker from Germany, and his girlfriend Anna, they warn him about an unfolding conspiracy which Ernst has inadvertently stumbled upon at the bank where he is employed. Not believing them at first, Charlie quickly changes his mind after their dire predictions tragically come true.
Over time they learn about The Syndicate, a secret group of powerful people who are planning to carry out astonishing, terrifying attacks on New York City and Washington DC, threatening to plunge the entire world into war and chaos.
But despite everything they uncover, what they don't know is exactly when the attacks will be.
Two more people are unintentionally drawn into the elaborate conspiracy: Dale Crumb, a cunning and corrupt New York investment banker; and Blaze Mullins, a shy introverted 19-year old Aborigine from the Australian Outback.
Upon their discovery by The Syndicate, Charlie, Ernst, Blaze and Dale are kidnapped and taken to the Sahara in Africa where they are forced to compete in a game of survival called Reality for the secret group's twisted entertainment. The game is the first of its kind and hosted by Metatron, an Artificially Intelligent supercomputer created by The Syndicate to help them dominate the world.
As the four men come to grips with their own fateful pasts, they attempt to unravel The Syndicate's secret evil plan and reveal the date of the terrorist attacks in time to stop them.
However, the unlikely group must not just survive the relentless scorching heat of the desert sun, as well as the wild animals of the African savannah, but they must also outwit and battle each other. . . for there can only be one winner of Reality.
