About the Author: Tim performed in grade school in a coal mining town, & later was doing mime - performing on Ohio State Campus. In 1972, after joining the US Navy, in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the 'Assistant Light and Sound Technician' for "Jesus Christ Superstar". He performed at USO's, on 2 Aircraft Carriers, and in cities like San Diego, San Francisco, Hawaii, and in the Asian Continent, and in Spain, Italy, England, and Sicily. In the states, he performed and danced in Virginia, Florida and Atlanta. In Key West he was a Disc Jockey. He studied theater, drama, and speech with Jay Drury out of The Green Street Theater. He was tutored by the likes of Truman Capote, Marcel Marceau and Tennessee Williams. In 1978 he taught dance, traveled and danced on Dance Fever. He was offered The Eastern Director of Fred Astaire Dance Studio Chain. At Arthur Murray's, his routine garnished students a Gold Medal in International Competition. He continued Theater and dance and Choreography. He ventured into Standup Comedy - all over the Midwest, east coast, and into music. He was invited to become a voting member of NARAS. In the early 80's he landed in Los Angeles - opened a casting company with Ann Ross, and to date worked on over 600 projects in various capacities. He/they branched out to television & film production, principal casting, producing, writing and directing. He flew to Cannes promoting 2 films released in Europe. He sold a TV Pilot that became a series on prime time. He's written and directed his own film, industrials, commercials, etc. He was the 1st Video Jock with sponsors Carefree Sugarless Gum, Chrysler Plymouth, and Capital Records. Utilizing his decades in the business, he began teaching his Technical and Analytical acting approach - exclusive to him - proven by those who have studied and been booked. From Los Angeles, to Nevada, to Chicago and New Mexico, actors are working and have been launched into a working status. He was offered a professorship at UCLA and Columbia teaching film. He studied under Syd Field and Hollywood Script Writer's Institute and NYU. He's sold scripts, had scripts optioned, and 1 Novel released on Amazon - 'The Shepherd's Cup'. He studied Improv in Philadelphia, New York and at the Improv & Comedy Store in LA. From humble beginnings, to Tennessee Williams, to Hollywood, he's prepping a series and film --- a long way from a coal town in West Virginia to Hollywood.
