This work is not religious in the traditional sense of the word. But it speaks to the real purpose of religion, which is to create harmony and instill the feeling of kinship, unity, harmony and joy in all humanity. Even now religious bigots and hypocrites still try to gain political power and even wage "holy war" to impose their will on society in the name of God, Allah, etc.
On the other hand and at the same time, truly religious and faithful people simply wait, expecting a Savior (Messiah, Christ, Buddha, Avatar, Imam Mahdi) to come soon. Meanwhile, however, prophecy will be fulfilled in a way nobody expected.

Then, rather than be divided by a contentious partisan rivalry for the throne, we will all share the throne as equal joint heirs to God's new "kingdom," which shall be set up on the earth and last forever, never to be destroyed. (Daniel 2:44, Daniel 7:14, Psalm 104:5, Revelations 11:15, etc.) That is what real prophecy foretells, and thus it shall be.
