About the Author: I have always valued education. My undergraduate training concentrated in biology, chemistry, and psychology, while my graduate training was in business administration, economics and healthcare administration. What I've learned about learning is that you never stop, and you can never have enough. Since receiving my graduate degrees, I have done stints in sales, management, computers, and healthcare. In 2000 I finally acquiesced and went into the family business: real estate. Coming from a family of real estate brokers and developers, I quickly realized that education and immediate action are key to establishing a solid business foundation. Using my extensive sales and customer service experience, as well as basic business principles, I created a successful real estate team ranking in the country's top 1% within just four years. Real estate is the only profession where you find out your true worth - you don't work - you don't get paid. Like you, I chose real estate for the flexibility of working on my own terms and schedule. What I discovered is a world of people, all with different backgrounds and different stories. I learned from everyone and everything - truly in my element. There is a saying in our industry that "real estate is a different business every day." This is so true. Every deal is different. Every customer is different. Every home is different. And every closing is different. You never run out of newness in this business and you are constantly rediscovering yourself. These are the perfect ingredients to develop a passion for what you do. After all, if you cannot be passionate about your career - why are you here? THE BASIC BIO - Chuck lives and works in Ft. Lauderdale. FL and is a licensed real estate broker in both Florida and Alabama. After almost 15 years of brokerage and training other agents how to be successful, he now share his proven strategies with the rest of the industry. Chuck's designations include GRI (Graduate Realtor(R) Institute, CIPS (Certified International Specialist), TRC (Transnational Resource Certification), ePro, CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), SFR (Short-sale and Foreclosure Resource), ACP (Accredited Commercial Professional), and CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member).
