Prativadi is the founder and director of Kala Saurabhi Dance School in the greater Boston, Massachusetts, area. She trains and teaches Bharatanatyam students and choreographs, directs, and produces Bharatanatyam dance performances.
Prativadi is also trained in classical Indian music and is fluent in Sanskrit, Kannada, and Tamil. Her gift for languages has allowed her to study the origins of Bharatanatyam. She has spent seven years researching and reading Sanskrit texts and other ancient treatises on Indian art and aesthetics.
